nursing is HARD.

Hey y’all. The new job is pretty rough and tumble. FOr JERSEY SHORE!

I only have one week of orientation left and then I am on my own. I guess I never thought that this day would actually come. But the nurses that I work with are pretty great. They are totz team players and I am so grateful.

I keep getting really critically ill patients that are on death’s door. And the whole time I’m praying, “please don’t die, please don’t die…please bless that this person doesn’t die on my shift…” it’s pretty crazy. I know that someone coding, or dying on my shift is going to happen eventually I just want to keep that from happening as long as possible. I don’t think I’m quite ready yet, but then again how do they feel? Probably the same.

Nursing is totz hard. I always knew that it would be, but this is different than anything I imagined. I work, and I sleep, and I drive to work. I haven’t been to church in over a month, and it’s awful. All I want to do is go to church! All I want to do is be social and have fun on the town…but the most I can bring myself to do is apply the whitening strips on my teeth as close to 7 days in a row as possible if you know what I mean.

I am supposed to start school again this week. I took a hiatus during orientation…but that hiatus is over as of Tuesday. Back in school again, M. house plays the fool again teacher gets annoyed….and so on.

I started sewing a dress and then I stopped. How do you ever get balanced when your schedule is different every week?!?!?! IDK IDK IDK!

I love everyone!

talk to you layaz.
